I really thought Dr. Fridsma did a really good job explaining ontology’s to the class. To be honest, I too left I bit confused after Dr. Fridsma’s presentation on Wednesday, but I know my confusion could have been worse. I got the point of why ontology’s are useful and important, but I was very confused on the different definitions presented. I know ontology’s are important and it is something that I must get to know well. I would like to thank that class for posting all of the links with more information, they have been great help to me.

ReplyDeleteI have contacted Dr Fridsma for the slides from the lecture. Once posted I'll inform the class. In my experience I found that going through the slides helped clarify the various definitions.
