Research Methods in BMI

Content:  Dr. Greenes discussion about BMI research methods was very comforting.   I was initially told that the best way to get involved in BMI research was to start working on an existing project, and that is what I did. Later I was told that, the best way was to come up with your own innovative, unique project and start working on it.  I was comforted in Dr. Greenes' opinion that they are both good ways to start.  I also liked the way he explained BMI research and all of the realms and directions that a researcher in the field can work in.  This was obvious, but overwheming in orientation when students were talking about their current projects.  It seemed that they were all over the place and I didn't see any connections.  Now I am starting to see how so many projects can be in the same category of BMI.  I also know that it is important to see these connections and keep the bigger picture in mind.
